It’s not easy to start a charity! There is a lot of red tape. All the necessary paperwork, applications, registrations and similar must be completed and submitted in order to do this the right way.

Step 3… identifying potential properties
The plan is to choose the first Hero’s home from properties already in the renovation phase with Memphis Invest. We’ll select the one that makes the most sense. A portion of the funds raised will go towards having the house independently appraised and inspected by a third party and then re-inspected should any additional work be required.
Step 2 … setting goals, assigning tasks, putting them into action
With Hero’s Home #1 to be located in Memphis, TN, the planning began with budgeting for all costs to be incurred with the acquisition, rehab and transfer of a quality single-family home.
Tasks were divided among the founders, official governing docs drafted, reviewed and finalized, banking and other administrative matters (including this website) were established, and more.
This thing is really moving forward now.
